Curran achieved the feat against Shreyas Iyer-led Delhi Capitals at the Punjab Cricket Association IS Bindra Stadium in Mohali.

The 20-year-old dismissed Delhi Capitals’ Harshal Patel, Kagiso Rabada and Sandeep Lamichhane to achieve the feat. Curran’s hat-trick is the 18th instance of a bowler registering a hat-trick in the IPL history.
The young Curran, who finished with the figures of 4/11, played a vital role in Punjab’s thrilling win against Delhi. Indian leg-spinner Amit Mishra holds the record for most hat-tricks in the league, achieving the feat thrice.

Curran, after conceding nine runs off his first over, claimed four wickets and gave away just two runs in his next two overs.
Yuvraj Singh has two hat-tricks under his belt. Thirteen others, including Curran, have one hat-trick each in the cash-rich league.
